para sa iba ka-cornihan ang pagiging masyadong relihiyoso.. sapat na ang magdasal araw2, ang magsimba paminsan minsan at ang maniwala na meron isang Jesus Christ na nag-ako ng lahat ng kasalanan ng mundo at meron nga talagang diyos na nageexist... pero alam mo bang nabubulag kana at distracted sa kung ano anong bagay na ino-offer sa mundong ito in short na dedemonyo kana..

Alam mo bang natutuwa si Satanas na hanggang jan na lang ang makakaya mong gawin para sa diyos na limited lang ang kaya mong gawin para sakanya at mas pinaglalaanan mo pa ng oras ang gaya ng paghahangad sa mga makamundong bagay, ang pagiidolo sa mga taong naghahangad ng popularidad, ang pagdadasal na sana yumaman ka at maging successful sa iyong personal na buhay...

Ano na ba ang mga nagawa mong hakbang para mapalapit sa diyos?

mas matindi ba to sa mga nagawa mong techniques sa DOTA? sa nagawa mong paraan para maka-utang para sa concert ticket na gusto mong puntahan? ang matindi mong ginawa mapalapit lang sa crush mo? ang mga paghihirap mo para mapromote sa trabaho? ang effort mo magdiet, maka-save ng pera, etc.

SAPAT na nga bang NANINIWALA ka lang sakanya? sapat na ba yung paminsan minsan ka lang nagsisimba? kasi maiintindihan ka nman ni lord busy ka at pahinga mo nalang ang Sunday o meron kang mas importanteng lakad.. sapat na ba yung mga yun katumbas ng bawat dugong dumalak mula sa katawan niya nung panahong pinabuhat at pinako sya sa Cross? kamusta naman ang relationship mo sa diyos? commited ba kayo sa isa't isa? gaano na ba ka-lalim ang relationship niyo? kilalang kilala mo na ba siya na tipong pagginaya siya ni Satanas e malalaman mo kung sino ang impostor?

hindi ko naman sinasabing i-let go mo na ang lahat sa buhay mo at pumunta ka sa simbahan araw2x para magsamba ng magsamba ng major major everyday... pero sana maaalala mo na ang tindi ng EFFORT ng diyos para matubos ang lahat ng kasalanan mo wag ka lang masunog habang buhay sa piling ni Satanas, hindi ko alam kung para san ang purpose mo at nabuhay ka pa sa mundo pero ito ang alam ko hindi aksidente ang mabasa mo to.. nasa iyo na kung palalampasin mo to pero paalala lang maikli ang buhay para magkamali... lagi mong isipin at the end of your life ano kaya ang nagaantay:)

Tomorrow is another year. Sigh. As I turn another page in my life... I just wanna thank "HIM", sooner than my last day of being 20y.o goes to an end ha ha! I know this is goin to be a very cheesy ENTRY to someone or everybody but this is what I really feel at this moment...*sniff and laugh

I wanna thank God for giving me the BEST MOM in the world SHE who's forever be my no. 1 fan, for giving me the perfect people to surround me from my birth up to this early stage of adulthood… for the best relatives, friends and co-workers I could ever had… GOD I will forever follow you, not in twitter but in daily life..

there are prayers I possibly will wish for my birthday "God knows" it hahaha - and with any luck I'll do my best :)

God knows and he will bestow us nothing but the best!

been so cold literally. the weather's getting colder and colder as well as the coldness I can feel in my work station. I wanna transfer to a new department where there's a more challenging goal.. where I can learn new things and improve myself..

4 more days and I'm getting another year older, geez! I can foresee an ordinary and unsatisfying day for my 21st birthday... :(

Further than expected it was a bit surprising for me to be pleased by SG, this COUNTRY is tremendous in so many things, coming from a country like the Philippines which is known for its people being HAPPY and SIMPLE, and since there's a lot of Filipinos in SG, It’s not impossible to come across too-easy-to-adjust in no time at all..

In Japan, when I was an exchange student few years ago I find Japanese people are very traditional and well-built nationalistic.. I think that’s another factor making them admirable around the globe and seriously you really have to invest time to adjust and learn their language and traditions to be able fit in, not to mention that in Japan authentic Japanese are all over the places unlike in Singapore there are several ethnicity and if you’re in a crowd you’ll find it hard to determine who’s Singaporean or not, the country is small and you can go around in just a single day since all places are accessible through MRT.

crime rate is low, economy is okay, technology is good… people are okay.. plus it's WI-FI nationwide..

The best place to stay indeed..

Ilang oras na lang isang taon na naman ang lilipas at magiging parte na lang ng ating nakaraan, Nakaraang magbibigay ngiti sating mga labi sa twing ating babalik balikan ang mga tawanan, harutan, tampuhan, busy-busyhan kunyareng workaholic,ang online booking kapag may promo ang PAL o CEBU PAC, ang cramming sa pagiimpake kapag mamaya na ang alis, walang patid na picture, at ang walang HUMPAY na SUPER PANALO!

2010 was incredibly heartwarming year designed for me, It all started in January when I invited Nelyn Navarro and few of her batch mates to celebrate my 20th birthday in Boracay subsequently travelling is like an addiction to boot in our monthly, weekly and daily plans following numerous e-mails and calls in our work areas, adventures for what’s in store for us since we’re not planning to dig up some packages in any of our tours… we’re at home with surprises furthermore with the budget HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Looking for the finest and cheapest place possible we could get… after my celebration in Bora we’ve been to 7 different destinations already and we’re expecting more this 2011.

It’s illogical to hold on especially now that she’s not worth fighting for. This is very untimely but this is life… sudden changes do happen, it’s sad but we need to feel this to be able to appreciate happiness the next time around... hindi ko makakalimutan yung first time kong nalamang may mgpro2ject hope sa salcedo branch kung saan naka-assign ako as roving teller tandang tanda ko friday yun mga 1:00pm at during those time kinukulit ko si mam grace na mgrequest ng another teller for monday dahil magbi2rthday leave si mam dyan at mgso2lo teller ako ng wala sa oras for the very first time... (tama salcedo branch ang naka devirginized sakin na magsolo teller.) tuesday dumating si Mam Dyan ksbay ni Nelyn Navarro aka Shakira.

isang napakalaking pressure agad ang pagpasok ni nelyn sa pinto, as we are expecting a very hot single lady. (tama! lahat kmi sa branch inaasahang maganda, dalaga at higit sa lahat sexy ang papasok sa branch para magproject hope! dahil hindi daw tatanggap si sir dan ng project hope kpag hndi pasado sa qualifications.)

pagpasok ni Nelyn, derecho sya pantry.. nagkatitigan lang kming lahat nung pagpunta nia sa pantry and the rest of our violent reactions itatago ko nalang or i-pm nio ako para sa details about dun! HAHAHAHAHA! :P

very first one on one interview with shakira, ilang taon ka na? san ka graduate? at kung may anak ka na? HAHAHAHA (joke lang!) mejo mayabang lang naman si shakira during our first conversation, nkikigamit pa yan dati ng ID sakin.. na witness ko din kung pano niya hinandle ang very first client niya sa PSBank, very transparent masaya siya at parang ayaw pa ata maglunch at mkiki-ride nlng xa sa ID namin, dun ko din nalaman na dati pala xang crew sa mcdo at sanay siya sa madameng tao dahil muka nga xang walang kapaguran (o mukha lng tlga xa laging haggard kaya hindi ko alam kung pagod na xa o hindi HAHAHA!)

akala ko hindi ko siya makakasundo dahil lagi silang may pinagbubulungan ni mam dyan,
lagi kong naririnig na operada daw siya pero wala akong paki alam bsta hindi siya mabigat kasama okay na sakin yon.

lagi niya akong sinasabayan maglunch kahit minsan gusto ko lng sanang magisa, dun ko napatunayan na matakaw pala tlga xa, dahil ung baon kong kanin half nun sknya, at ung ulam kong chicken bbq ka-share ko siya, tsk! tsk! tsk! di pa jan ngtatapos lahat siya din ang nagpauso na lumabas ng branch during working hour para pumunta sa mini stop at bumili ng ice cream in cone... buti nlng mababaet ang officers ng salcedo at pinapalampas lahat ng kalokohan nitong si shakira..

during my last day sa salcedo, nglunch out kami ni shakira sa ilalim ng salcedo branch.. sa chili pepper.. first and last time kong maglunch out non (ganun kming branch people dpt plging nsa branch during working hour, makulit lng tlga si shakira)

nong nasa arnaiz nko as permanent teller, lagi padin niya akong tinatawagan kahit saan saang branch na siya binato ng BOD, continuous ang communication hnggng sa nag-christmas party na ang area 1 .

sabay kaming umuwi... na inabot din ng ilang oras sa pagaabang ng taxi sa stock exchange kht mid night na, next bankwide christmas party.

it's been a year since my last post and 3 years n din ako dto sa blogspot. HAHA!
sabi don sa last post ko. "let's wait and see kung anong manyayare few more years from now.. :)"

after a year I can see a clear path pero dahil pinanganak nga akong magastos at mahilig sa biglaan at very impulsive na desisyon... baka mejo mttgalan ung isang major move.. hihihi i am trying to enjoy whats in my life right now. new friends, new environment.

pero theres something missing na hndi ko pa alam kung ano..

haaay hirap tlga ma-kuntento, pero mahirap din mgtake ng risk kung hndi ka sure sa ginagawa mo.. i envy those people na sabay2 lang kmi n ngarap pero anlayo n ng nararating nila.. i hope one day makasabay na din ako saknila tulad nung dati :)

today, nakaisip ako ng pwedeng maging blog entry para ma-share sa mga blog readers
natin dito sa blogspot and multiply..

mejo nakakaluwag na sa usual tight schedules sa planner..
most of the things are falling into the right places naman, decision- wise and finally growth is starting to be noticed...

i have this list of major changes and major things to do at the back of my mind.

number one..

career adjustments from being a student to a full time bachelor.

- i can't say its sobrang easy. pero ill try my very best! LOL aga ko nmn grumaduate eh.
pero i know its not an excuse. actually when people ask my age.. "just turned 19 last month"
haha! i can't sink in.. i really can't believe.. I'm too young hahaha! maxado ata akong expose sa older community.. barkda ko 30's na and 40's.. clasmates ko 20's... I learned alot from them.. to the point na naglie low ako sa mga ka-age ko.. because I wanna learn alot. I wanna explore the greatest gifts on earth!. I want to be exceptional.

number two..

total independency

- this time I have to earn my own living, I have to do and finish things all by my own. but syempre with support of my mom and some relatives na hindi mawawalan ng advices, pero it's getting to be different in a sense that I know people around me think that I can do everything 100% by myself kahit pagod na tlga, I can feel it even by now, they let me do things and they let me decide for myself like a full grown adult already and they believe every little things that I say in which tlgang treasured ko nmn because I am honest with all the things I am doing. unlike sa ibang friends ko at their age they can't enjoy this kind of priviledge that I have because of dishonesty and immaturity... and this prerogative i believe magandang foundation to earn points of independency.

number three...

social life

- another part of my lifestyle na mababago is my usual tambay schedule.. tambay with my selected high school friends. I know by now they can feel it. I'm starting to put them on the least of my priorities in life... I have to give them their own time to grow.. just like the time that I want too.. away from each other. away from the childish days, away from the teeny days. and by now I have to prepare myself for what's in the next social level. business talks, engagements, commitments etc. I have to do what I really have to do. bawal na magpahappy-go-lucky. because this time I have to treasure every relationships and commitments that I have and syempre to improve my network...

number four...

living with the expectations

- amm living with the height of expectations is a different talk. ako kasi I always commit myself with the things that I am doing. and luckily pleased naman ako sa mga outcome.
until the time that I realize maxado na din palang mganda lahat. to the point na parang wala ng magagawang mali and I am afraid to create big mistakes, its soo pressuring na everyday they always make me feel extra special ala VIP ika nga... shows me that I will be successful someday... and that's what I am working hard right now honestly. nakakabother din minsan.

ayun. as of now yan palang naiisip kong major changes in my life.

Ayoko sa mga taong ngfee-feeling na magaling at pinagmamayabang na magaling siya pero wala pa namang napapatunayan sa buong buhay niya.

Ayoko sa mga taong trying hard and social climber para lang sumikat..

Ayoko sa mga taong flood kung magtext, at grabe kung manghingi ng favor pero kapag turn mo na para mang hingi ng favor kahit ung pinaka-effortless pa hindi nman niya magawa.

Ayoko sa mga taong akala mo diyos sila para maging center of attraction, at anlakas manlait ng iba dahil akala nila ang gaganda't gwapo nila sa paningin ng iba. pero ang totoo HINDI!

Ayoko sa mga taong feel na feel ang kakapiranggot ng nalalaman nila at kung umasta akala mo sing talino ni Einstein ang utak, pero ang totoo utak ipis naman pala..

Ayoko sa mga taong madaling mapaniwala ng iba, at ng mga haka-haka ng iba kung wala pa naman declaration ng nasasakdal, mga chismoso at chismosa, walang mararating sa buhay.

Ayoko sa mga taong nagpapaka-Emo pero hindi naman bagay, trying hard kung tawagin. mga totoy at ineng, ang bawat bagay ay may pinagbabagayan, tumingin muna sa salamin at tanggapin ang katotohanan.

Ayoko sa mga taong nagtetext at wala nmn balak mgpapakilala,kundi nanggugulo lang at pulos pagpapacute lang, walang nararating ang mga nagpapacute lang kung hindi naman mukhang artista.

wala lang!! nakaka-asar kasi ang mga taong ganyan. naglaganap na sa mundo, andame kong kilalang ganyan.

In 1902, President Teddy Roosevelt took a political trip down South. His hosts, knowing Teddy loved to hunt, corralled a bear cub for him to shoot. But Teddy would not fire at the furry little thing. A celebrated newspaper cartoon praised this act of decency, and it gave Brooklyn toy maker Morris Michtom an idea. He created a stuffed bear cub, "Teddy's Bear", and it did so well that the next year Morris formed the Ideal Toy Company. It's been a bull market in Teddy Bears ever since.

For all the scientists out there, and for all the students who have a hard time convincing these people regarding the truth of the Bible, here’s something that shows God’s awesome creation, and that He is still in control.

Did you know that the space program is busy proving that what has been called “myth” in the Bible is true? Mr. Harold Hill, President of the Curtis Engine Company in Baltimore, Maryland, and a consultant in the space program, relates the following development :

“I think one of the most amazing things that God has done for us today happened recently to our astronauts and space scientists at GreenBelt, Maryland. They were checking out where the positions of the sun, moon, and planets would be 100 years and 1,000 years from now. We have to know this so we won’t send up a satellite and have it bump into something later on in its orbits. We have to lay out the orbits in terms of the life of the satellite and where the planets will be so the whole thing will not bog down.”

They ran the computer measurement back and forth over the centuries, and it came to a halt. The computer stopped and put up a red signal, which meant that there was something wrong with either the information fed into it or with the results as compared to the standards.

They called in the service department to check it out, and they said, “What’s wrong?’ Well, they found there is a day missing in space in elapsed time. They scratched their heads and tore their hair.

There was no answer.

Finally a Christian man on the team said, “You know, one time I was in Sunday School, and they talked about the sun standing still”.

While they didn’t believe him, they didn’t have an answer either, so they said, ‘Show us.’

He got a Bible and went to the book of Joshua where they found a pretty ridiculous statement for any one with ‘common sense.’ There they found the Lord saying to Joshua, “Fear them not, I have delivered them into thy hand; there shall not a man of them stand before thee.” Joshua was concerned because he was surrounded by the enemy, and if darkness fell, they would overpower them. So Joshua asked the Lord to make the sun stand still! That’s right…‘The sun stood still and the moon stayed and lasted not to go down about a whole day!’ (Joshua 10:12-13)

The astronauts and scientists said, ‘There is the missing day!’ They checked the computers going back into the time it was written and found it was close but not close enough. The elapsed time that was missing back in Joshua’s day was 23 hours and 20 minutes… not a whole day.

“They read the Bible, and there it was ‘about (approximately) a day.’ These little words in the Bible are important, but they were still in trouble because if you cannot account for 40 minutes, you’ll still be in trouble 1,000 years from now. Forty minutes had to be found because it can be multiplied many times over in orbits.

“As the Christian employee thought about it, he remembered somewhere in the Bible where it said the sun went BACKWARDS. The scientists told him he was out of his mind, but they got out the Book and read these words in 2 Kings that told of the following story:

Hezekiah, on his deathbed, was visited by the prophet Isaiah who told him that he was not going to die. Hezekiah asked for a sign as proof. Isaiah said ‘Do you want the sun to go ahead 10 degrees?’ Hezekiah said, ‘It is nothing for the sun to go ahead 10 degrees, but let the shadow return backward 10 degrees.’ Isaiah spoke to the Lord, and the Lord brought the shadow ten degrees BACKWARD!

“Ten degrees is exactly 40 minutes!
Twenty-three hours and 20 minutes in Joshua, plus 40 minutes in Second Kings make the missing day in the universe!”

Advice for young people who want to be financially successful:

You can control your financial destiny, live a good lifestyle, retire with security and grace — even luxury — if you make good decisions and avoid some of the mistakes your friends are making:

Plan for a good career. Don’t just settle for whatever comes along. You have to make your own way. If you want financial success, you will have to take responsibility for preparing yourself to earn it through education, developing your skills and abilities, and improving your worth to an employer or a customer every day. If you fail to make yourself productive, there is no one else to blame but yourself.

Learn the value of saving money. There are two ways that money is obtained: 1) you can earn it with your labor, ideas, or skills 2) the money you have will earn more money Obviously, you have to do #1 before you have #2. But if you never save any money, you will never accumulate wealth. Don’t confuse making money with having money. There are a lot of people out there driving a Lexus who will have only their social security or some other handout when they retire. Start saving now, and let the miracle of compound interest make you rich.

Be patient. Most people who are financially successful started out with nothing, just like you. It takes patience, determination, and humility to avoid jumping at every temptation. Every day that you delay buying something is another day that your savings are working for you. Trust me, you won’t have to wait forever, just for a while.

Don’t go into debt. Someone who borrows money to buy something always pays more than the person who doesn’t. That has a “double whammy” effect. When you borrow money, you not only pay for the luxury of having it when you can’t afford it (interest) but you lose the income your money could have earned if you had delayed the purchase and saved up for it. The two biggest culprits: credit card debt and car loans. Remember this: If you never make a car payment in your life, you will spend half of what everyone else spends on cars for the rest of your life. Pay cash for your cars — buy what you can afford — and one day (soon!) you will be able to walk into any showroom and write a check for the car you want. But if you get in the “car loan” habit, trust me, you will never get there. Another note: sales people will try to talk you into buying a car that you can’t afford by selling you a long-term loan. The payments might seem really affordable, but as soon as you drive off the lot you have immediately lost thousands of dollars, because you now owe more than the car is worth. If you tried to sell the car the very next day, you would lose a ton of money. That’s called being “upside down”, and it’s not a good position to be in.

Don’t take risks. Risk here is defined as possible life danger. Not risk in investing. Risk in investing is postive. Because the higher the risk the greater the gain or yield. So we usually have to take more risk in investing. (Italics mine) Insurance is necessary. Saving for emergencies is necessary. Keeping your job is necessary. Grades and graduation are critical. Don’t drink and drive. Don’t smoke. Don’t do drugs. Be honest, don’t break the law. Pay your taxes. If you take risks with your money, health, and security, sooner or later you will get burned. Trust your instincts — if it doesn’t feel right or safe, don’t do it.

Get in on your employers retirement plan. One of the greatest wealth-builders out there is the 401(k) plan offered by most employers. You take money out of every paycheck before tax is calculated (which means you pay less tax) and your employer will add a “matching” amount. This money is put into an investment account of your choosing, and it builds like crazy. Many people are retiring young with a million dollars or more in their 401(k) accounts. Don’t miss out on this opportunity, and don’t be tempted to “borrow” the money out of your retirement fund for other purposes.

Nobody is happy all the time, but some people are definitely more fulfilled than others, and it doesn't seem to have much to do with material goods or high achievement---things many people spend a lot of their time worrying about. So what do they have that you don't?

Steps

Relax. Lighten up. Don't take yourself too seriously. Try not to over analyze things. Stress can cause many mental, physical, and spiritual problems in your life. One of the major causes of stress is worrying about things that are out of your control. Learn to recognize these things and if you can truly do nothing about them, then just let them go. Take time to laugh at yourself and the situations you find yourself in. Laughter is a powerful, positive medicine and the calmer and more peaceful you can take things, the happier your life will be. It wouldn't be life if some bad things don't happen.
Smile You would be surprised how much of an immediate difference physically smiling has on your mood, if you smile and force a little laugh you will feel your mood lighten and you won't have to force it next time.
Take the good with the bad. No one is happy all the time. Everyone has something of sorrow intermingled with the gladness of life. The trick is to make the laughter outweigh the tears. We cannot change the past, but we can enjoy today, and look to the future. If we are prepared to take ownership for the past and accept that everything that's happened in our life, good and bad, has made us the person we are - the battle is half won.
Be thankful. A key component of happiness is acceptance - learning to be grateful for what you have. A lot of people know it but don't keep it in their minds. Comparing your life with others' is dangerous. Accept the gifts you have and know that no one is better than or less than anyone else's. Keep a "gratitude journal". Every day, write down a few things that you are thankful for and then review what you have written in past entries. It's a great way to remind yourself to be thankful for what you have and to boost your mood.
Be yourself. Much criticism is caused by people who are discontented with themselves, not with you. One way to get in touch with yourself is through journaling, diaries or (lately) blogs. Your goal may be to open up completely to yourself and learn to be your own best friend by being completely honest with yourself. What do you want out of life? What makes you truly happy? Who do you want to be?
Pursue goals that make you happy. Strive for long term goals rather than short term satisfaction. It's very easy to gain short term satisfaction--a quick high, a fast relief from your current problems (such as drugs, alcohol, sex). But it is what it is, a "short term" satisfaction, and the effects die out very soon, leaving you with an empty feeling that is sometimes worse than before. Set long term goals, goals which take time, thought, and effort to achieve. This will make you continually work towards improving yourself bit by bit and will give you the satisfaction of bringing a permanent change in your life.
Focus on the Objective. If the thoughts you are thinking are not giving you that 'good feeling', then think about something else that will make you feel good in that moment. Observe your thoughts and ideas consistently throughout the day (diary/journal if possible). Sometimes this may not be as easy as you think if you are stuck in a "destructive" train of thought and your brain chemicals are getting fired up and forming "anxiety or anger" thoughts. Anxiety, fear and anger patterns can be interrupted by focusing on something else. This will dissipate the rush of chemicals that are making you feel bad. Immediately then go back to picturing scenes/remembering things/imagining, planning stuff that makes you feel good.
Develop healthy relationships.
- Family. If you want a stronger relationship with your family, you're going to need to be honest with them. Tell your family about your life and don't insult them - it hurts them just as much as it hurts you to be insulted. If you are in an abusive family, you must find a way to stop the abuse and that may include separation.
- Have a healthy relationship. If you're dating, get involved with activities that reflect who you are, and get to know people who like the things you do. Get involved with someone who loves life and pursues happiness the way you do. If you're in a relationship, strive to make that relationship healthy.
- Choose your friends carefully. Nearly everyone needs someone who cares for them and treats them well. If you have friends who are treating you badly, or are not supportive of you and your goals to improve your life, then ditch them and find friends that do care about you. If you can't find any friends like that in your current circumstances, then look elsewhere. If you're feeling sad, there's nothing like going out with your friends to make you feel better. Surround yourself with friends who are beneficial, encouraging, and helpful. We all need this continuing, nurturing encouragement to make solid desired progress in life.
Make someone else happy. When you're feeling powerless to create happiness in your life, do something to make someone else--anyone--happy, and you'll remember how easy it really can be. Isn't it true the happiest people we know are typically the ones who for some foolish reason are always ready to give you the clothes off their back? And frequently it is true that the most discontented people are the ones who are selfish, demanding, and inconsiderate of others. The happiest days of our lives, when we really dig down deep, is when we see the smile on the face of a person who we care about. Even helping a stranger can remind you of how much you really have, because of how much you can give. Serve at a rescue mission and you will learn the meaning of "I cried because I had no shoes and then I met a man who had no feet."

Japanese calligraphy has been heavily influenced by Chinese calligraphy. For a long time, the most esteemed calligrapher in Japan had been Wang Xizhi, a Chinese calligrapher in the 4th century. James' speech.. during our JENESYS farewell party

JENESYS Programme has been a life changing experience for us. We thank the National Youth Commission, JICE, the Japanese and Philippine Embassy, and the people of Japan, for giving us this opportunity to share life as other youth see. It has been a first time for most of us: first time to ride a plane, to go out of the country, and the first time to visit Japan.
It did not just give us the opportunity to enjoy, but it also made us see our purpose: To serve and not to be served, to convey a message to the youth, and to ensure a force that will make the future of a nation and this world. It gave us the vision of sharing the message it taught us for the rest of our lives.
Japan is a country of culture and history; honor, respect and friendship; and a country unafraid of new innovations without diminishing the value of its culture.
We experienced first hand its culture and tradition, such as esa (Okinawa drum dance), Japanese calligraphy, tea ceremony, sanshin (traditional Okinawan guitar), karate and ikebana among others.
Forever we value the experience of homestay, the love given by our host families and the interaction with the different students from Asia (Chinese, Thai, Koreans and Japanese) of Okinawa Shogaku High School (Okisho), Okinawa and Japan now we may call, our home.
We have learned something more than any other school could teach us: Friendship, to value it and how important it is to share it with the world and all the youth. It taught us to love and share our thoughts, most of all it taught us that we the youth will hold the flame that will ignite a wave of success for our nations.
As we are about to leave Okinawa for Tokyo it made our hearts melt seeing tears run down the eyes of our Japanese families and the students at school in the farewell party. Seeing more of their expressed gratitude and sadness as they were all running to the street just to bid us farewell as our bus passed the school campus. What made us all cry was to see a familiar face at the airport waiting for us, the school vice president and most of all a familiar friend we all loved, a young girl named Momoko who even made herself absent in class just to bid us and her foster sister goodbye.
We will always appreciate the time we shared together and spent in Japan, with our host families, new friends from Japan and the Philippines, and everything we experienced, the culture, the life and tradition.
Lastly, I would like to share a famous Okinawan saying “ICHARI BA CHODE”, Once we meet we are Brothers and Sisters.

JAPAN-EAST ASIA NETWORK OF EXCHANGE FOR STUDENTS AND YOUTHS (JENESYS) PROGRAMME

First batch will leave from May 13 to 22, 2008

Second batch will leave from May 20 to 29, 2008

Qualification of Student Ambassadors:

· Filipino, single, must be between 16 to 18 years old, on or before April 1, 2008

· Of good moral character

· Must be currently enrolled in a college or university with a Graded Weight Average (GWA) of 2.25 or 85% equivalent, with no failing marks in the preceding semester

· Physically and mentally fit to travel

· Must be a first time traveler to Japan and or must not have been a grantee or recipient of any NYC funded international travel or Japanese Government grant

· Must be knowledgeable of the history, geography, culture and arts, and the current issues on the Philippines, and fairly knowledgeable in those of Japan and other East Asian countries

· Must be an officer or an active member of a youth organization for at least one (1) year immediately preceding the date of application

· Must be willing to be an active NYC volunteer after the program to be covered by an appropriate Memorandum of Agreement and to continue to promote the learnings about Japan and the Japanese culture gained from the JENESYS Programme

· Area representation would be based on the place of the school, college, or university enrolled in

Application requirements for Student Ambassadors

· Two (2) copies of the Application Form with passport-sized pictures with white background attached to each form (all original, no scanned pictures)

· Two (2) copies of resume, not more than three (3) pages

· Two (2) copies of Certificate of Good Moral Character, issued by the school, college or university (1 original and 1 photocopy)

· Two (2) copies of certified true copy of grades

· Two (2) copies of Police or NBI clearance

This programme is aimed to promote mutual understanding among the East

Asia region, and the invitation project is especially arranged for the

participants to deepen understanding of Japan regarding the following

autonomy, election system, role of mass media etc.

*Diplomacy: Visits to MOFA (diplomatic strategy for Asia, economic

cooperation, peace building), Embassies etc.

*Economics: Advanced technology, manufacturing, finance, service

February 17, 2008 Morning my relatives brought us back home in San Pedro, Laguna… just the moment when I landed there I received a letter from the National Youth Commission Office of The President Malacañang, At first I was really puzzled I thought they were just going to inform me about my upcoming oath taking with PGMA until when I opened it, it was written there that:

“The National Youth Commission wishes to inform you that you have been chosen as one of the delegates to the JENESYS Programme….” Then sound of silence exist for awhile mixed emotions are getting in I check through it just to bear out if they are just fooling me but it’s precise they are informing me that I passed their uttermost qualifications and I am going to enter Japan as a Student Ambassador.

I did a research about this Programme, and I found out this interesting paragraph:

“During their two-week stay, the students will experience homestay, interact with Japanese youths and visit traditional cities like Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto and Hiroshima and historical sites there. All these activities aim to deepen the students’ understanding on Japanese politics, diplomacy, economics, society and culture. The JENESYS Programme was launched based on the Japanese Government’s announcement during the Second East Asia Summit (EAS) about the plan to invite 6,000 young people mainly from East Asia Summit (EAS) member countries to Japan every year for five years. It aims to lay the foundation for solidarity among Asian countries by promoting mutual understanding between the future generations of ASEAN and other East Asian countries. All expenses will be borne by the Japanese Government in cooperation with the ASEAN Secretariat.”

Farewell sickness cause now I am strong,

educational institution. Revise your policies because they suck!

Principal: [nag resign]

Pag dating sa bahay, nandun na ang amo, galit na galit.

Amo: Inday, bakit nagkalat ang basura sa likod ng bahay?!

Inday: A change in the weather patterns might have occurred
wrecking havoc to the surroundings. The way the debris is scattered
indicates that the gust of wind was going northeast causing damage
along the path it was on.

Amo: [nosebleed ulit]

Habang nagluluto si Inday ng hapunan, malikot si junior.

Inday: Stop your raucous behavior. It is bound to result in
property damage and if that happens there will be corresponding
punishment to be inflicted upon you!

Junior: [takbo sa CR, punasan ang nagdudugong ilong]

Pagkatapos magluto, nanood na ng TV si Inday. Nabalitaan nya
umalis si Angel Locsin sa GMA 7.

Junior: Bakit kaya sya umalis?

Inday: Sometimes, people choose to leave not because of selfish
reasons but because they just know that things will get worse if
they’ll stay. Leaving can be a tough act, and it’s harder when
people can’t understand you for doing so.

Di nagla-on, dahil sa tyaga ni Dodong, nagging syota nya rin si
Inday. Pero di tumagal ang kanilang relasyon, at nakipag-break
si Inday ke Dodong.

Inday: The statute restricts me from loving you but you have been

love for you. We have some rules to consider. We have no vested rights to
love each other because the upper household dismissed my petition!”

Dodong: Perhaps you are mistaken, what you seem to contrive as

recreation. Heretofor, you can expect an end to any verbal articulation
from myself.”

Me dumaan na mamang basurero, at narinig ang usapan ni Inday at Dodong.

Basurero (sabi ke Inday): Be careful in letting go of the things
you thought are just nothing because maybe someday you’ll realize
that the one you gave away is the very thing you’d been wishing
for to stay.

Paguwi ni Inday, naabutan niya ang kaniyang amo kasama ang ilan sa mga trabahador sa bahay.

it's me and Candy... sigh! wahw... hindi ako mkapaniwala i'm really proud of her, i've known this girl since 2nd yr high school... ilan taon din kaming nagkasama at hanggang ngaun khit college na mgkasama padin hehe... =p naalala ko pa dati nung mga bata pa kami wid our classm8s sobrang mga immature, close minded, puro away sa room, gag show sa room, tumblingan sa room, harutan, iyakan, kopyahan, sound3pan, damayan, tulungan hehe.. ano pa ba??

nung highschool kami (the whole class) sobrang magkakapatid na ang turingan, SUBOK NA KAMI! kabisado na pati kwento ng buhay ng isa't isa, ni utot nino man lam na kung kanino nagmula... kuha na pati kiliti ng katawan... alam pa mga tinatagong sikreto ng bawat isa...

ewan nga ba... pero madame na ang nagsabi na iba ang klase nmin... we deserve more than the word "Perfect"... hhe... sv nila un...

c CANDY SAN JUAN, pinanganak nung oct. 20 . 1988... galante, matibay, makapal (lagi akong tinatalo sa tong-its) hehe.. wala lang hindi lang ako makapaniwala sa mga narating na niya...
hindi xa ung tipong basta2 nlng na tao jan sa tabi2... pero pagkasama mo wala pading nagbabago ganun padin coboy... game sa lahat...

hehe... sa sobrang dami ng achievements niya di ko na alam kung ano2 pero ang ilan sa alam ko... runnerup xa sa hiyas ng san pedro, ms. lyceum, runner up pa ng isang national beauty pageant na bb. lakang kawal, at madami pang iba.. =p

ibang iba na siya malayo sa dating Candy na kilala ko nung highschool, nagimprove siya in a positive way... na dapat namn tlaga... at sobrang masaya ako para sa kanya =p

wala lang, i started the day na tipsy'ng tipsy ako... nung ngcng aun deretso sa makati med.. kumuha ng medical records ni mama afterwards deretso nmn sa g4 at ngligalig wid Mayos.

hehe we're planning for difference sana matuloy nga un... :-)
at sana maganda mga susunod pang mga araw at hindi m2loy ung cnasabi ng mga signs...

hehe.. bumawi lang sa barkada.. khit di kami nkumpleto last night... kahit maraming wala at apat lang kaming nagshare (Kevin, Kenneth, Odette, at ako) sa 4 medium and 2 large mucho (Red Horse) solve pa din...

wala nmn nalasing ng sobra.. we're all average drinkers lang nmn... and we know how to limit ourselves.
